COMPLETE RECYCLING AND REMARKETING SERVICES

HMR Envirocycle is fully compliant and equipped to process virtually all types of electronic waste streams. Our equipment, controls and processes are up-to-date, with technologies that exceed all international and local standards. Housed on a 5,000 sqm lot in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, HMR Envirocyle’s goal is to assure that no electronic equipment is deposited into landfill, which can potentially pollute the environment. Rather it should be re-used, re-marketed, or disposed through proper, licensed and accredited channels.

Envirocycle: Environmental Recycling

The business of HMR Envirocycle is built around the management of electronic assets in compliance with government regulations and corporate policies on environmental issues.

HMR Envirocycle is the Philippines’s first and only full-service environmental processor of electronic waste and is equipped to handle virtually all types of electronic waste streams. With more than 15 years in the electronics recycling business, the company possesses the expertise and experience in the complete, proper and environmental processing of electronics disposal and data destruction.

The company handles all asset disposals, either through its facilities or its strategic partner resources. Thus, it has access to the latest equipment, controls and processes, with technologies that exceed all international and local standards.

As a comprehensive asset management provider, HMR Envirocycle offers:
  • Hard drive wiping to US Department of Defense specifications
  • Confidential records destruction of printed documents and other proprietary materials
  • Full asset audits, bar-coding and identification for disposal
  • Remarketing services to maximize returns
  • Environmental disassembly and recycling of obsolete and non-repairable items

Recycle All: Full-Service Processing of E-Waste

Unlike other companies that can only accept circuit boards, HMR Envirocycle purchases any electronic and electrical equipment.

Similarly, while many manufacturing companies may know the purchasing side of technology, few are able to conform to a reliable and environmentally-sound policy on the disposal of excess inventory, process scrap, and other electronic waste. HMR Envirocycle ensures that the purchased assets are channeled for resale or environmentally de-manufactured into re-salable components and commodities.

Environmental Call: No to Landfills

HMR Envirocycle offers solutions to every waste stream problem. It de-manufactures electronic waste, including non-working CRTs, printed circuit boards, machinery and components. Ultimately, it diverts end-of-life electronics from being disposed into landfills.

HMR Envirocyle’s goal is to assure that no electronic equipment is deposited into any landfill, which can potentially pollute the environment. Rather these assets are diverted for reuse, remarketing, or disposal through proper, licensed and accredited channels. HMR Envirocycle runs the Philippines’ only Monitor/CRT Pre-treatment Plant which is patterned after the HMR Sacramento Central Processing facility. Non-working CRTs contain a high percentage of lead; disposing these into landfill harms our environment.

The environmental processing of IT waste leads to several benefits. It allows the reuse of parts as spares for operational machines or as components in new machines. The disassembly and stripping of electronic components allow the products to be further mined as commodities for resale and reuse. This, in effect, minimizes cost and increases savings for end-consumers, and ultimately encourages the environmentally-responsible use of existing products.

Reciprocal Responsibility: Corporate and Environmental Obligations

The improper disposal and failure to erase recordable data can lead to potential problems concerning data security and environmental claims.

HMR Envirocycle supports the trend of good corporate citizenship, through the proper disposal of old equipment and other kinds of electronic waste without causing harm to the environment. By doing so, it ensures complete compliance with government regulations and corporate policies on environmental issues.
